The American-Canadian Critics Choice Association has descended upon awards season for the 29th year, voting on the year’s finest in cinematic achievement.

Hosted this year by Chelsea Handler, the Critics Choice Awards are broadcast live on The CW on Sunday, Jan. 14, at 4 p.m. PT.

“Barbie” topped nominations with a record-breaking 18 nods, including best picture, director, actress (Margot Robbie), supporting actor (Ryan Gosling), supporting actress (America Ferrera) and three for original song.

Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” and Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things” followed behind with 13 nominations each, and rounding out the best picture category are Cord Jefferson’s “American Fiction,” Blitz Bazawule’s “The Color Purple,” Alexander Payne’s “The Holdovers,” Bradley Cooper’s “Maestro,” Celine Song’s “Past Lives” and Emerald Fennell’s “Saltburn.”
