Disney EMEA’s longtime leading counsel Peter Wiley has stepped down after 27 years.
Wiley has been chief international counsel and chief regional counsel for EMEA, based in London, since 2005. In his role he led Disney EMEA’s function across international, including overseeing all legal and regulatory matters impacting the company across EMEA. He reported to DMED deputy general counsel Linda Bagley.
Prior to joining Disney he worked as a lawyer at London law firm Frere Cholmeley Bischoff where he qualified in 1993. It is unclear what Wiley plans to do next.
He has been replaced by Nikki Keat, who has also been at the company for 27 years, most recently as deputy chief counsel for international consumer products for MENA and Africa.
