Most Wanted,’ ‘FBI International’ Renewed at CBS

“FBI,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” and “FBI: International” have all been renewed at CBS, with “FBI” scoring a three-season pickup at the broadcaster.
The renewal will keep “FBI” on CBS through Season 9 into the 2026-2027 broadcast season. “FBI: Most Wanted” has been renewed for Season 6, while “FBI: International” has been renewed for Season 4.
All three will return for the 2024-2025 broadcast season. CBS currently airs the three shows together in a Tuesday night programming block. The “FBI” franchise hails from Dick Wolf and his Wolf Entertainment banner as well as Universal Television in association with CBS Studios.
“The All-‘FBI’ Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera on all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fanbase steadily across multiple seasons. We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters.”
Like most shows Wolf produces, the “FBI” shows are a viewership powerhouse for CBS. Per CBS, “FBI” is averaging 12.3 million viewers an episode in Live+35 multiplatform ratings. “FBI: International” is averaging 9.6 million, while “FBI: Most Wanted” is averaging 10.3 million.
“Obviously, I’m thrilled by the pickups,” Wolf said. “We are all extremely grateful to George [Cheeks] and Amy [Reisenbach] and their entire team.”
“FBI” stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana De La Garza, John Boyd and Katherine Renee Kane. Wolf executive produces along with Rick Eid, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, Joe Halpin, Arthur W. Forney, and Peter Jankowski.
“FBI: International” stars Luke Kleintank, Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, Christina Wolfe and Eva-Jane Willis star. Wolf executive produces along with Matt Olmstead, Michael Katleman, Ernesto Alcalde, Forney, and Jankowski.
Dylan McDermott, Shantel VanSanten, Roxy Sternberg, Keisha Castle-Hughes and Edwin Hodge star in “FBI: Most Wanted.” Along with Wolf, Forney, and Jankowski, the series is executive produced by David Hudgins, Ken Girotti, Terry Miller, and McDermott.
The series are all distributed domestically by Universal Studio Group and internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
This is the second large batch renewal for Wolf’s franchises in the past few weeks. NBC previously renewed “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU.” No word yet on “Law & Order: Organized Crime” starring Christopher Meloni, but those talks are said to be ongoing.
