Snow (“Pitch Perfect”) stars as Alice, Peter’s partner and mentor in his first assignment in Night Action, while Colon (“Power Book II: Ghost”) portrays Solomon: a former Marine turned right-hand man/fixer for a powerful businessman.
Herthum (“Westworld”) plays Jacob Monroe, an international businessman with powerful global connections that he uses to obtain valuable information. Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, “The Night Agent” follows, Peter, “a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings — until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office,” per the official logline.
Netflix quickly renewed the show for Season 2 after the series proved to be a ratings success, scoring 168.71 million hours viewed within its first week of availability. Netflix has since transitioned to covering its ratings by showing total views of a title, which in this case would be approximately 20.62 million total views for the first week of viewing (Netflix calculates total views by dividing a project’s total hours viewed by the total runtime). The series ranked third overall for premiere week of viewing across all Season 1 TV.
